- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Juice and zest of 2 limes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili flakes
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (garnish)
- Lime wedges (serving)
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry and trim excess fat
- Place chicken in a bowl or resealable bag
- Combine honey, lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, soy sauce, hot sauce, chili flakes, garlic, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in another bowl
- Pour marinade over chicken, ensuring even coating
- Marinate for 20–30 minutes
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook chicken for 6–8 minutes per side until golden and cooked through
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges

- Use chicken thighs for extra juiciness
- Adjust chili flakes or hot sauce for spiciness
- Substitute hot sauce with chili paste for a smokier flavor
- Squeeze lime juice over servings just before eating
